Cinema at the Symphony

The cinema comes to life as we perform Stravinsky’s poignant “A Solder’s Tale” under the brilliantly animated film depicting the life of a young man returning from war. The BWSO will also perform timeless classical works conducted by our beloved Alvin Mills.

The best young musicians, aging 13-25, compete for the opportunity to perform well-known concertos with the BWSO. Many past winners have gone on to play in major orchestras around the world.
